Katong Diner Special Projects Ikat short sleeve shirt is made of lightweight organic cotton fabric with two front chest pockets and contrast camp collar. The Ikat weave features a repeated black and white pattern. Ikat is a resist dying technique where the threads used for weaving are dyed beforehand. Ikat cloths are susceptible to slubs and have ties in the cloth where one weaver ends and another begins. These are not flaws but the very nature that characterises the Ikat. This article comes in a limited edition of 2 pieces and is handmade by the team at WOODS & WOODS in Singapore.
